- At one of our field sites, we have a MultiTech MT1432BA with firmware
- version 0113A USA. The field site is running AIX (ibm's flavor of
- UNIX).
-
- When we dial into the site ( using any of the following modems:
- USRobotics Sportster 14400, Intel 144e, or a MT1432BA) the
- connection loses characters.
-
- I have found I can eliminate the loss if I configure the calling modem
- to have 'error correction OFF'.
-
- I recall that in the early days, if you wanted to use error
- correction, that you must use the same brand and model of modem at each side of
- the connection. I thought these inconsistencies were fixed... Is that
- what my problem or is it a problem with my configuring the MT1432???
-
- My current configuration is:
-
- B1 E1 M1 Q0 R0 V1 X0 &E1 &E4 &E6 &E8 &E10 &E13 &E15 $E0 %C0 #C1
- $MB14400 $SB19200 $BA0 &W0
-
-
- Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
